The EU might “respond swiftly and decisively” in response to what it deems “unwarranted” travel bans issued by the United States against five European individuals involved in combating online hate and disinformation, an EU official stated.

EU Officials Decry US Move as ‘Intimidation’

European leaders such as the French president accused Washington of “coercion and intimidation”, following the visa restrictions were placed on figures who have been central to efforts to enact legislation regulating US-based technology firms.
